Saturday 14th October at Himley Road Church. Running from 2.00pm till 5.00pm - admission is free and all proceeds are in aid of two charitable organisations – ‘High Flyers’ and ‘Our World’. Stalls include – fused glass; silk painting; wood craft; hand-made cards; jewellery – and much, much more. Oh, yes… and there are refreshments too! .




Age Alliance in Dudley invites you to join us for all or part of the day to celebrate Older Peoples Day 2017 on 28th September 2017 - 10.30am to 2.30pm at Bank Street Methodist Church in Brierley Hill

The theme is Combatting Loneliness and Isolation

This free event is for individual older people, carers, family or friends plus representatives of organisations across all sectors working with or for older people.

There will be a range of activities during the day including reminiscence, craft, relaxation sessions and seated exercise.

Information from various organisations will be available on marketplace stalls.

A buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided but booking is essential and can be done by calling Fynelle Wishart at Age UK, Dudley on 01384 354508.

Age Alliance consists of representatives of Dudley MBC, Forum for Older People in Dudley, Dudley NHS Clinical Commissioning Group, Healthwatch Dudley and Dudley Age UK.

The Friends of Ridgeway Surgery are organising an event at St Andrews Church, Sedgley on 4th October between 11am -3pm called "Keep Safe and Well". You’re invited to come along for advice on the following topics and much more:

 ·        How to prevent falls and keep safe at home

·        How to join groups to meet new friends

·        How to keep fit and active

·        How to manage your money and avoid debt


Thank you for the support you give to Springs Foodbank. Your gifts and donations are greatly appreciated. Through the summer months we will continue to need stocks of food and other household supplies to meet the needs of individuals and families in our local area. Thank you, too, for all your prayers for us in this vital ministry. The Food Bank is currently in need of small boxes of low sugar Breakfast Cereal, UHT Milk; Fruit Juice; Tinned fruit; packets of teabags and small jars of coffee; Baby foods and nappies; Toilet Rolls, Deodorants and Shampoo (male and female).



This is a new social group for men in the Gornal circuit which will aim to provide several social events every few months from sports outings such as Speedway, Basketball, Ice Hockey and Football through Curry nights, "set the world right" get togethers to more spiritual events which we can attend corporately.
