FIVEWAYS CHRISTMAS FAYRE

The annual Five Ways Christmas Fayre will take place on Saturday 25th November, 10am-12noon.

Crafts/Toiletries/Cakes/Breakfast sandwiches etc etc… All money to charity - split between Sight Savers, and the Georgina Unit..

GORNAL BIBLE FELLOWSHIP

Our next meeting will take place at Lake Street Methodist Church (DY3 2AU) on Saturday 2nd December, starting at 7.15pm. Our speaker will be Mr David Gayton. David was the Pastor at Dudley Baptist Church prior to his retirement. He is currently in great demand nationally, as a speaker and an open air preacher.

 


PARABLE ARTS PRESENTS – ‘A Christmas Carol’

This fresh retelling of Dickens’ haunting tale will be presented at the Bonded Warehouse in Stourbridge, in association with The Salvation Army Band. The dates are November 24th and 25th and December 15th and 16th starting at 7.30pm. All the proceeds from these presentations will be donated to the Salvation Army for their local work. 

 

 


GORNAL CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

The annual switching on of the Christmas Lights in Gornal will take place outside Zoar on Saturday December 2nd at 6.00pm. The festivities begin at 4.30pm and include the arrival of Father Christmas at 5.00pm and the usual assortment of festive stalls in the Zoar Church Centre and the Darby and Joan Club as well as Hog Roast and mulled wine.

 


SPRINGS FOODBANK @ Upper Gornal

Thank you for the support you give to Springs Foodbank. Your gifts and donations are greatly appreciated. All year round, we will continue to need stocks of food and other household supplies to meet the needs of individuals and families in our local area. Thank you, too, for all your prayers for us in this vital ministry. The Food Bank is currently in need of small boxes of low sugar Breakfast Cereal, UHT Milk; Fruit Juice; Tinned fruit; packets of teabags and small jars of coffee; Baby foods and nappies; Toilet Rolls, Deodorants and Shampoo (male and female).
