Morning Service

Welcome to Worship!

Our Sunday (and Saturday!) morning services follow a general pattern during each month. Please note the 3rd of the month which meets on a Saturday when there is no Sunday morning service.

Click on the link to find out more about each service:

  • 1st SundayTea & Toast (Food at 10am - Service starts around 10.45am till 12.00pm)
  • 2nd Sunday - Morning Service and Kid's Church (10.45am - 12.00pm)
  • 3rd SATURDAY - Come As You Are (Refreshments from 10am - Service starts at 10.30am till 11.30am)
  • 4th Sunday - Morning Service and Kid's Church (10.45am - 12.00pm)
  • 5th Sunday - Morning Service and Kid's Church (10.45am - 12.00pm)

When it is not 'Tea and Toast at Ten' or 'Come As You Are' the morning service takes place in the main church. There is usually a worship group to help lead the service and the children meet for their own 'Kid's Church' at the same time. About once a month the service includes Holy Communion. From time to time we also follow a particular theme over several weeks. (See the Preaching Plan for further details.)

What happens in a service?

After a word of welcome most of our services include a time of worship (old and new songs) prayers, reading(s) from the Bible, a Christian message, and a free will offering. Sometimes people are invited to share a word of testimony - how they feel God has helped or encouraged them recently. Church is much more informal than it used to be - we want everyone who comes to feel comfortable and at home so you are welcome to wear what you like. There is no formal dress code.

Disabled Friendly

The church has a loop system for those who may be hard of hearing.  Simply turn your aid to the 'T' position. Although the main church building has 4 steps leading up to the entrance there is wheelchair access via the church community centre. There is also a disabled access toilet.

All Welcome

You are very welcome to attend any of the above services. You can either just turn up or if you live locally and need help with transport then do contact us and we'll see if we can help.
